Gone wit d wind (a tribute 2my irreplaceable granny)
Gone wit d wind lik a kite,
escaped from it's handler's grip,
ur transition on dat fateful tuesday threw us in2 a sudden dip,
death came uninvited as a stranger would,
and u welcomed it as graceful as u culd,
but it had 2wait as an errand-boy wuld,
until u bade farewell 2ur children,
and as we gaze upon ur remains,
we are grateful 4d life u lived,
4 it is a testament of a life fulfilled,
now transfigured, we hail u as u glide gracefully in d sky,
and on our shoulder, heavy as a burden, d great legacy u left behind,
as a woman n mother, u were a quintessence of d kind,
and u will remain ever-green in our mind,
u were a jewel of inestimable value,
and shone conspicuously 4 anyone 2 argue,
u were a paragon whose beauty flawed every other,
ur contemporaries knew contendin wit u ws a tall order,
mama, enumeratin ur qualities, i culd go on n on,
but it stil wont change d fact dt u re gone,
and as indispensable as u were,
4eva irreplaceable u will remain 4all our time here.
Adieu Mama!
Lekwara anya si Nneoma!
